Just a quick note --

Things are progressing very well for the Des Moines Renaissance Faire, 
coming up this Memorial Day Weekend.  Discounted tickets are available 
in Des Moines at the Southside HyVee and also at Historical Outfitters. 
  If you are not in the local area, you can also order them online (.50 
postage and handling fee added, though).

More street characters have been added in the past week and the website 
is now lagging in keeping up with the latest entertainment and 
demonstrations, but I am working on it.  More details on the site soon!

The Des Moines Renaissance Faire is *this weekend*!  Saturday, Sunday, 
and Monday, rain or shine.  And speaking of rain... Due to flooding at 
our original site in Water Works Park, the event has been relocated.  
If you plan to attend (and we hope you do), please make a note of the 
new location:

IOWA STATE FAIRGROUNDS
33rd and University Entrance

This should be very easy to find, but just in case, we have a map on
